Traveling is a challenge for our planet, as we have understood by now, but traveling also contributes so much. By visiting new places, meeting new people and learning from each other, we create a better world. This is our conviction. However, we need to travel in a way that has as little impact as possible on the world around us. We therefore work with selected partners who are all actively working to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible.

Sustainability is so much more than just caring for the environment. We work hard to ensure that we are a good company that contributes positively to society. We make sure to pay our employees fair wages, actively work to combat all forms of discrimination, and strive to have a diverse and welcoming workforce.

One thing that is very close to our hearts is treating our destinations with respect. We always want to leave the places we visit feeling welcome to return, and ensure that those who come after us also have a wonderful place to visit. This means, among other things, that we prefer to take on smaller groups that do not disrupt daily life, that we pay for our study visits, and that we actively participate in the local community. Instead of Christmas gifts, for example, we make a donation to Berlin City Mission in our clients’ names—a gesture that is usually appreciated by everyone.
