Project: CAE Consultants
This group stayed at one of Hamburg’s finest hotels, beautifully situated right on the Alster and centrally located, making it easy to get around the city. During their stay, conference days were interspersed with a packed schedule of group activities and experiences—from a scavenger hunt, canoeing, and biking to guided tours and a visit to Miniatur Wunderland. Two group dinners also provided plenty of time to socialize and enjoy Hamburg’s culinary offerings.
Midway through the trip, the focus shifted to the group’s local office, where they got to tour the new premises and attend the grand opening. This was followed by another team-building activity before the day concluded with a group dinner. It was a varied program in which the conference, socializing, and exploring Hamburg were given equal emphasis.
-
The focus of the trip was on team building and strengthening the bonds between Swedish and German colleagues, while also giving the group the opportunity to inaugurate the company’s new office in Hamburg. The program was therefore structured around shared activities and experiences that created natural opportunities for the group to socialize, collaborate, and get to know each other better.

Berlin has something for everyone and is a perfect city for study visits as it has a bit of everything.
-
To ensure the program worked for a group of this size, participants were given the opportunity to choose between different tracks and activities during parts of the trip. The smaller activities provided opportunities for team building in smaller groups, while each segment concluded with a larger group activity that brought the entire group together—an approach that fostered variety, camaraderie, and energy throughout the trip.
