Leipzig

What happens in Leipzig?

Leipzig is one of Germany's oldest cities, dating back to the 10th century. For this reason, Leipzig's history is a long and varied one, with the city in recent decades being seen as one of the most important cities in East Germany. Leipzig has a long tradition in culture, with the art of letterpress printing and music being something that has been seen as important in the city. Names such as Richard Wagner and Johann Sebastian Bach have a connection here, which is the subject of many guided tours. Leipzig's city center showcases its classic Art Nouveau buildings and mixes them well with a German "roughness" and modern buildings.

Not only does Leipzig have a long history from the past, but it also has a strong foothold in contemporary technology and industry. Both BMW and Porsche have factories here and Leipzig's central station is considered one of Europe's most visited and is the ultimate hub for backpacking, train travel and more.

Conference trip / group trip

Leipzig is a lovely city which is optimal as a conference destination for fairs or study visits, but also as a wonderful arena for an inspirational trip. The city offers exciting industries and a historical center in a wonderful mix. All gathered in a medium-sized city with centuries of memories available in the city's streets and squares.

Architecture trip

Seeing interesting architecture in Leipzig, and getting inspiration for future projects, is not difficult. As mentioned above, the city mixes its history well with its classic Art Nouveau buildings and modern center with newly built complexes. And if the city itself is not enough for big dreams, Dresden, Berlin and lovely Prague are just a short distance away. All to soak up as much inspiration as possible.
