Düsseldorf is Germany's premier art city, and it's art that the city is best known for. As well as this, Düsseldorf has a long history of producing and brewing Altbier, which is ideally served in one of the city's 300 bars, making Düsseldorf known as one long bar street. The beer, as well as the city's history, began in the Altstadt, the oldest part of the city and where the streets still wind cozily from shops and bars to sights and pleasant squares.
Today, Düsseldorf is one of Germany's largest industrial cities, with many different companies operating in a variety of fields. This makes the city an ideal starting point for exciting study visits and trade fairs.
