Dresden

What happens in Dresden?

A hidden gem in eastern Germany, that's how you could present Dresden. The city, which has existed for almost a thousand years on the banks of the Elbe River, houses a wealth of beautiful old buildings in the old town and blends this nicely with the newer part of the city where modern architecture is seen and built. For Germans, Dresden is known as 'Florence on the Elbe', as the city's core is filled with baroque architecture and art museums.

Dresden's proximity to many lovely and big cities makes its location a perfect starting point, whether you want to discover Germany in the form of Berlin or Leipzig, or take a trip across the border to lovely Prague.

Conference trip / group trip

Dresden may be an underdog when it comes to other German cities, but it has everything you need. As a conference city with pleasant breaks or as a destination for a group trip - everything is possible here. The city's history offers interesting angles and new insights regardless of your field of work. And for a group trip, there's great shopping and a wealth of historical sites. A smorgasbord of impressions!

Architecture trip

As written, Dresden's history is interesting and because of that, Dresden therefore has a special architectural style. Classic baroque buildings are mixed with modern buildings built in the present and areas built in the former GDR. This means that the city's architectural expression has many faces and is a perfect place for inspiration.
